Cedarapids Launches CRH5064 Portable HSI Impactor Plant

Apr 14, 2026 - 2 months ago

Cedarapids, a Terex brand of modular, portable, and static crushing and screening equipment, introduces the new CRH5064 Portable HSI Impactor Plant and the TRAC Vibration Analyzer, a purpose‑built diagnostic system engineered specifically for the crushing and screening industry.

Cedarapids Launches CRH5064 Portable HSI Impactor Plant

The CRH5064 Portable HSI Plant has been designed to deliver high‑capacity performance with reduced maintenance for quarrying, recycling and demolition applications. At its core is the TI5064 Horizontal Shaft Impactor powered by a 400 hp motor, featuring a high‑inertia four‑bar rotor, monoblock primary curtain with replaceable tips, hydraulic tramp iron relief, hydraulic‑assisted apron adjustments and a hydraulically opening hood for easier inspection. Prototype testing recorded 600–700 tons per hour when processing 30‑inch minus shot rock limestone, supporting producers requiring reliable throughput and a maximum 30‑inch feed size.

Another highlight of the CRH5064 plant is the latest 60" x 20' Cedarapids Advantage Series Feeder, which widens the intake by eight inches compared to earlier models, improving crusher loading and fines removal. The plant is also available with multiple axle configurations and a removable feed‑hopper module for improved transport flexibility, with optional features including feeder lift, a jib crane for blowbar changes, a self‑cleaning magnet, under‑crusher pan feeder and expanded electrical and conveyor options.

Alongside the CRH5064, Cedarapids will introduce TRAC, a new vibration analysis system developed in direct response to requests from distributors seeking clearer, more accurate screening diagnostics. Unlike generic vibration tools, TRAC has been engineered from the ground up by Terex engineers specifically for crushing and screening environments, with the potential to extend across a broad range of vibrating equipment. The system uses four WiFi‑enabled sensors mounted on the screen structure to capture acceleration, velocity, movement, inclination, orbit and bearing behavior. This coordinated data allows operators to identify issues such as loose components, damaged media, broken springs, hazardous frequencies, imbalance or timing problems, and to confirm correct screen installation and performance. At CONEXPO, visitors will be able to view the hardware on display along with an iPad showing simulated diagnostic outputs to demonstrate the system’s reporting capabilities.

Chris Reed, Business Line Director of Cedarapids, said: “The CRH5064 reflects our focus on performance and serviceability, while TRAC meets a long‑expressed need from our distributors for a diagnostic tool designed specifically for screening equipment. There is nothing else on the market built for this industry, and the potential for TRAC to expand across future vibrating platforms is significant.”
